A Little About Me:
My name is William H. Lewis and I am a Web Designer and Developer living in Clayton NC. My last position was a Software Tester and Quality Control Specialist on a Web Development team for a very large internet company, BBH Media in Raleigh NC.
I created test plans and test cases, I verified the stability of code and how it impacts our current servers and other applications or web sites. I performed cross browser checking and WC3 validation. I found errors in code and problems with applications. I perform usability testing and make UI recomendations.
I worked for BBH Media for 6 years and held many positions from Web Production Supervisor to Software Tester. I've help maintain existing web sites using PHP, HTML and CSS and have built web banners, process client images and design and layout articles for our online magazine.
During this time I have gone back to school to earn my Bachelors degree in Web Design and Development. I attended The Art Institute and graduated from their Web Design & Development program and I'm currently attending IADT (International Academy of Design & Technology). I will have completed my bachelors by the end of the year.
Before working at BBH Media I was an in house Graphic Artist for 7 years for various companies. I am very familiar 4C printing and the printing process as well as programs such as: QuarkXPress, Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoShop. I have designed pieces such as Direct Mail Pieces, Brochures, Catalogues, Packaging, Technical Charts and Graphs as well as In Store Displays.
